The youth sections (Cubs, Scouts, Venturers) each have navy as the predominant colour but each section has its own colour for the sleeves (see uniform image on the pages for each youth section).
It is strongly recommended the shirt be slightly bigger to allow wearer to grow into it. If the wearer outgrows the shirt, not only is there the cost of a new shirt, but the badges will need to be transferred to the new shirt.
Leaders wear a plain navy shirt.
There are two styles of shirt: a button-through shirt and a polo shirt. The button-though shirt is regarded as the official shirt while the polo shirt may be worn on certain activities.
Optional items: there is a uniform Scout jacket, uniform belt and different styles of headwear (cap, brimmed hat).
